Westside church will accept challenge

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning United Methodist Church, 2214 Mahoning Ave., is accepting the annual Feinstein Foundation $1 million “Giveaway to Fight Hunger” challenge. The church’s Love in Action team will accept donations of cash, checks and food items valued at $1 per item or pound through April 30.

The Alan Feinstein Foundation of Rhode Island will award agencies nationwide a minimum of $250, proportionate to the amount each agency receives by the end of April. For information call the church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 330-799-5318.
