Lauren Nicole LoSasso and Andrew Michael Popovich Jr., both of Poland, exchanged wedding vows July 16, 2011, at Holy Family Church. The afternoon ceremony was solemnized by Monsignor William J. Connell, and the couple received congratulations at a reception in their honor at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The bride is the daughter of Bonnie and Fred LoSasso, and parents of the groom are Sandy and Andy Popovich, all residents of Poland.

The bride wore a strapless silk organza gown embellished with Swarovski crystals. It featured a ruched bodice, dropped waistline and a semicathedral train.

Natalie LoSasso attended her sister as maid of honor in a fuchsia taffeta dress. In identical attire, bridesmaids were Tara Popovich, the groom’s sister; Shannon Craig and Amanda Krafft, cousins of the bride; and Caitlyn Conglose. Keira Coates, the bride’s cousin, was the flower girl.

Joshua Slaven, the groom’s cousin, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Justin Hodges; Mark Mraz, the bride’s cousin; Mitch Baird and Scott Danish. Liam Coates, the bride’s cousin, served as ring bearer.

Mrs. Popovich is a summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in the cardiac care unit at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Mr. Popovich graduated cum laude from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is employed by CMI Industry Americas Inc. in Salem as an electrical engineer.

After a honeymoon in the Carribbean, the couple are making their home in Poland.
