Kindergarten registrations this week

Kindergarten registration for Campbell and Mathews school districts for 2012-2013 will be this week.

Campbell will take registrations from 9:15 to 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. Monday at the elementary school.

Lakeview will accept registrations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday at Currie Elementary School on Ridge Road.

To attend kindergarten, a child must be 5 by Sept. 30 and have the following immunizations: five DPT, four polio; two measles, mumps and rubella; three Hepatitis B; and one chicken pox. A screening program will be done later in Campbell.

To register, parents must bring the child’s birth certificate and Social Security card, custody papers if applicable, parent’s identification and three proofs of residency.
