Holloways will be honored for 70th at open house

COLUMBIANA

Edgar and Virginia Holloway of Columbiana will be honored April 7 on the occasion of their 70th wedding anniversary during an open house celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. at Das Dutch Village Inn, 150 E. state Route 14.

The couple’s children and grandchildren will host the celebration.

The Holloways are the parents of Carol (Wayne) Trotter of Inman, S.C.; Ken (Dorothy) Holloway of Smyrna, Tenn.; and John (Linda) Holloway of North Lima. The family is completed by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Mr. Holloway and the former Virginia Calvin were married in 1942 at Locust Grove Baptist Church in Lisbon.

Mrs. Holloway retired in 1985 as a medical transcriptionist for Drs. Resch and Schreiber in Canfield.

Mr. Holloway retired in 1984 as a plumbing inspector for Columbiana County.

The couple are members of Evangel Baptist Church in Boardman.
