Farm Bureau will host gas meeting
CANFIELD
The Mahoning County Farm Bureau will host an informational oil and gas briefing at 7 p.m. Monday at the Joyce E. Brooks Conference Center/Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.
Discussion topics will include lease agreements, pipeline easements and community planning.
The informational program will be facilitated by Dale Arnold, director for Energy Services, Ohio Farm Bureau.
There is no charge for Farm Bureau members, but reservations are required. Reservations and membership information is available by contacting the Mahoning County Farm Bureau at 330-533-5553 or info@mahoningfarmbureau.com.
East Liverpool event is March 20
EAST LIVERPOOL
The East Liverpool and St. Clair chambers of commerce will host a Chamber Banquet at 6 p.m. March 20. The event will be at the East Liverpool Motor Lodge, 2340 Dresden Avenue.
Andy Doehrel, president and CEO of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, will speak at the dinner, and entertainment will be provided by Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center students.
Tickets for the event are $30, and reservations must be made by March 13. Guests also may sponsor a table for $100 to display promotional materials for a business. Contact the East Liverpool Chamber at 330-385-0845.
Salem speaker series continues
SALEM
The second in a series of eight luncheons sponsored by the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce will take place beginning at 11:45 a.m. March 14.
Howard Rohleder, CEO of Salem Community Hospital, will be the featured guest speaker. Rohleder will speak on structuring health-care benefits and incentivizing wellness.
There also will be a short, five-minute presentation from Susan Frenger of Visiting Angels of Salem, the business of the month.
The 2012 Chamber Business Connection series is open to all Salem Chamber members for $20 and to potential Salem Chamber members for $25.

Passport renew day
YOUNGSTOWN
Those business travelers who need to renew their passports can do so on Passport Day in the USA, which is scheduled for Saturday.
Twelve post offices in Northern Ohio will participate, including those in Canfield, 44 N. Broad St., from 1 to 3 p.m., and in Poland, 125 W. McKinley Way, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Postal Service recommends bringing the following: proof of American citizenship and proof of identity.
