AUTOMOBILES
At the 76th annual awards banquet for the Antique Automobile Club of America in Philadelphia, Canfield-based local antique-auto restorer Nate Miller of Buckeye Classic Auto Restoration was recognized for the restoration of a 1966 Ford Mustang owned by Ann Dahmer of St. Joseph, Mich. The sauterne gold convertible was awarded the 2012 Bomgardner Award for an outstanding restoration of a post-1942 automobile. In 2010, Ann Dahmer commissioned Miller to restore her late mother’s vehicle. The 1966 Mustang is on display at Quaker Steak and Lube in Austintown until May 1.
Agriculture
The Ohio Christmas Tree Association appointed these members to leadership positions: Carl Yeager of Storeyland Christmas Tree Farm in Trumbull County, president; Dave Reese of Kaleidoscope Farms in Hancock County, vice president; Mary Jan Perdulla of Pioneer Trails Tree Farm in Mahoning County, secretary; and Avery Wilcox III of Wilcox Farms in Lorain County, treasurer. The association sponsors activities and programs that help Christmas-tree producers achieve success in plantation management and small business creation, promotion and development.
Real Estate
Tom Williams of Austintown was named president-elect of the Ohio Association of Realtors for the 2012 year. Williams is the corporate trainer/recruiter for Northwood Realty Services in Youngstown and has served as president of the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Real-tors, in which he was honored as “Realtor of the Year” in 1996 and 2003.He has also served as president of the Lowellville Board of Education, member of the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Austintown Growth Foundation.
Finance
Northwest Savings Bank has promoted Stephen Westerburg to Assistant Vice President and Manager of the Northwest Security Department. Westerburg is a graduate of Youngstown State University. He will be responsible for installation, maintenance and operation of security systems as well as protecting company assets and the safety of all bank employees. As manager of the security department, he will also be in charge of surveillance and fraud monitoring.
HEALTH
Mary Blei of Boardman has been named nurse manager for centralized staffing at St. Elizabeth, St. Joseph and St. Elizabeth Boardman health centers. Before her appointment, Blei was nurse manager for clinical resources at St. Elizabeth. She has a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Kent State University.
Juli Dulay of Hubbard has been named manager of the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center at St. Elizabeth. Dulay had been surgical operational support manager and clinical liaison manager to anesthesia at St. Elizabeth. She has a nursing diploma from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and a bachelor’s degree in health arts from the University of St. Francis.
Elizabeth McConnahey has been named nurse manager for surgery at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Before her appointment, McConnahey was clinical director of Surgery Alliance in Alliance. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Kent State University.
Robyn Sheridan of New Brighton, Pa., has been named nurse manager of the surgical intensive-care unit at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Before her appointment, Sheridan was supervisor of the trauma/surgical intensive-care unit at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Waynesburg University, where she is completing work on a master’s degree in nursing.
Noel Stickle of Boardman has been named physician practice manager for internal medicine and family practices for HMHP Physician Associates. Stickle had been education and marketing coordinator for HM Home Health Services. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Edinboro University.
Brian Tusinak of Austintown has been named nurse manager for the surgical unit at St. Joseph Health Center. Before his appointment, Tusinak was the nurse coordinator on the surgical unit and interim manager for the monitored unit at St. Joseph. He has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University.
Communications
Michael Baringer of Columbiana and Samantha Rivalsky of Poland were hired as program supervisors at the Austintown location of InfoCision Management Corporation. Rivalsky will work in the nonprofit division and Baringer will lead the communications division. Both will be responsible for running telephone-marketing programs, training call-center staff and helping assigned teams meet performance goals.
