Conference for men is March 10

The Catholic Men’s Fellowship of the Diocese of Youngstown will host its first Men’s Conference on March 10 in the Barrette Center of Walsh University in North Canton.

The conference will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and close with Mass at 4 p.m. in the university chapel with celebrant, Bishop George Murry.

The theme is “Rise Up O Men of God and Lift High the Cross,” which is a challenge to men to listen and respond to God’s call in their lives and to grow in faith in whatever walk of life they have chosen.

Speakers will be Charlie Aeschilman, a former Navy SEAL and trick basketball champion, and John W. Garcia, a speaker versed in areas including addictions, spiritual welfare and family life.

The cost is $35 per person in advance, $40 the day of the conference, $30 and for a group of three or more; lunch is included.
