Campbell student seeks funds for tour

YOUNGSTOWN

From 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, dinners will be sold at the E.B. Life Center, 7 S. Garland Ave., as a benefit to fund an important trip for Jabr Weatherly.

Weatherly, a sophomore at Campbell Memorial High School, has been selected to be a student ambassador in the prestigious People to People 2012 summer program.

Weatherly’s travels will include an International European Heritage 20-day tour beginning in June. The opportunity will be an enriching one for an emerging leader and academic credit for his experience.

Weatherly, an outstanding student, is very active in his community and Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Anyone wishing to make donations may do so Sunday or at any Chase Bank, where he has a savings account in his name.
