Blood drive in Austintown Tuesday

AUSTINTOWN

Teamsters Local 507, which represents about 250 employees who perform Red Cross blood collection operations, initiated a work stoppage against the American Red Cross Northern Ohio Blood Services Region on Feb. 14.

The stoppage is now in its third week, and the Red Cross has been daily evaluating all its blood drives and promotional efforts that may occur during this time.

The Austintown Donor Center, 57 Westchester Drive, will have a blood drive from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
