Falls food pantry takes Feinstein challenge

NEWTON FALLS

The Newton Falls Community Pantry has accepted the challenge again from the Feinstein Foundation to raise as much in donations as possible between March 1 and April 30. Alan Shawn Feinstein, of Cranston, R.I., splits up $1 million of his own money each year and gives it to pantries across the country that raise money during that two-month period.

The more a pantry can raise during that time, the bigger its share of the $1 million.

Your donation can be cash, check, pledge or actual food, valued at $1 per pound or more. For information visit thefeinsteinfoundation.com or call the pantry at 330-872-5574. Send donations to the N.F. Community Pantry at 261/2 W. Broad St., Newton Falls, OH 44444 or drop them off at the Church Mouse.
