Champion's Simmons wins state bowling title

Champion sophomore Danny Simmons shot a 702 series, the lone 700 of the day, en route to claiming the individual state title by just three pins at Friday's state bowling tournament in Columbus.

Simmons gives the Valley back-to-back state champions. Struthers' Corey Bayus won last year's crown.
