Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League hosts party

The Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League will host its third annual St. Patrick’s Day Party Saturday at St. Nick’s Social Hall from 6:30 to 11 p.m.

The cost is $25 and includes traditional Irish Fare, dancing and partying with DJ-Tune Weavers, Chinese auction, Silent Auction and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Jimmy Sutman’s The Golden String for Purple Cat.

Golden String provides a safe environment for adults with Developmental Disorders, physical disabilities and significant mental illness. They help teach daily living skills, education skills and vocational skills. Purple Cat provides access to social outlets that are often enjoyed by community members that do not have a disability (i.e. camping, overnight vacations, religious activities, community parties and athletic events.)
