Firefighters were on the scene for more than two hours after responding to a blaze at the Ball Corp. warehouse on Myron Street on Thursday. No injuries were reported.
Ron Stanish, assistant fire chief for the Eagle Joint Fire District, said an electrical short started the blaze in one of the offices inside the warehouse.
He estimated the loss at up to $15,000.
Brookfield Township firefighters assisted in controlling the blaze.

The Ohio Department of Public Safety at that time will conduct computer-server maintenance.

Columbiana schools will have an open house from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Joshua Dixon Elementary School, 333 N. Middle St., for residents to view renovations to the old building, new classroom additions, new gymnasium, reoriented and new construction entrances and parking.
Guilty plea
YOUNGSTOWN
A Girard man pleaded guilty as charged to 13 counts of failing to report and pay the IRS $92,433 in employment taxes withheld from employees of his company between 2006 and 2009.
Patrick M. Rubinic, 48, pleaded guilty to willfully failing to report and turn over to the Internal Revenue Service federal income and Social Security taxes withheld from employees of Knight Line Embroidery of Girard, and causing that money to be used for other purposes.
Rubinic also failed to report and pay to the IRS the employer’s share of the Social Security taxes, the U.S. attorney said.
Rubinic, who is free on bond pending his May 30 sentencing, entered his plea Thursday before U.S. District Judge Patricia Gaughan.
