Hunger Challenge needs donors to help

Protestant Family Service is joining Rhode Island philanthropist Alan Shawn Feinstein in his Annual $1 Million Giveaway to Fight Hunger.

For the 15th consecutive year, the Feinstein Foundation will divide $1 million among hunger-fighting agencies nationwide, using it to help them raise funds during March and April.

Donations or pledges made to Protestant Family Service, 496 Glenwood Ave., Suite 115, Youngstown, received from March 1 to April 30 will be counted for this Hunger Challenge. The donations or pledges can be monetary or food items (valued at $1 per item or pound.)
