Farmers market at Lake Milton

LAKE MILTON

Lake Milton Farmers Market will be from 9 a.m. to noon today — and every Saturday during summer — at Lake Milton State Park Amphitheater Lawn, Grandview Road, just north of the swim beach.

Items featured today are black raspberries, blueberries, fresh-made jam, fresh-baked bread and free-range eggs.

East Side outage

CAMPBELL

A power outage Friday afternoon attributed to equipment failure, possibly caused by a vehicle hitting a utility pole, affected 5,900 customers in parts of Campbell, Coitsville and Youngstown.

The outage began at 3:03 p.m. and everyone was back on line by 3:45 p.m., David H. Turner, area manager for Ohio Edison-First Energy.

Auto repair fire

YOUNGSTOWN

Fire early Friday evening caused an undetermined amount of damage to a South Avenue auto repair business and cars, equipment and tools inside the block building.

The fire, reported at 7:20 p.m. at a business named Auto Repair did not structurally damage the building. The cause of the fire is under investigation, fire officials said.
