The children of Debra Lynn Logsdon are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their mother to Lyle Robert Carpenter. The bride-elect’s children are Matthew T. Logsdon and Rebekah J. Logsdon. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Pastor G. Thomas and Lois J. Badanjek of Warren. The prospective groom is the son of Emmett E. and Patricia A. Carpenter of Mineral Ridge.

Invitations will be extended for a Sept. 8 ceremony and reception.
