Camp Frederick is a Christian camp and retreat center that is used year round. Camp history notes that F.C. Reese donated the land for a Boy Scout camp, which was used for a few years. J. Allan Frederick bought the property and offered it to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Boardman and it was Camp Westminster for a few years. In 1964, a group of local pastors looking for camp property worked with Frederick and Camp Frederick came into being.

Corporation: The camp is owned by a corporation of 18 churches and governed by a board of directors. They are Abiding Savior Lutheran in Alliance; Bethel Lutheran and Good Hope Lutheran, both Boardman; Emmanuel Lutheran and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, both Salem; Emmanuel Lutheran and Living Lord Lutheran, both Warren; Good Hope Lutheran in North Lima; Grace Lutheran in Hubbard; Greenford Lutheran Church in Greenford; Israel’s Lutheran in Paris, Ohio; Jersalem Lutheran in Columbiana; Prince of Peace Lutheran in Poland; St. John Lutheran in Petersburg, Ohio; St. John Lutheran in Youngstown; St. Paul Lutheran in Leetonia; Trinity Lutheran in Girard; and Zion Lutheran in New Waterford.

Location: 100 acres at 6996 Millrock Road, Rogers, that features streams, meadows and hiking trails.

Facilities: There is a main lodge with dining hall and kitchen and 40 bunks, cabins and tents. It is accredited by the American Camp Association.
