v Small Ships Revue, 6 p.m.: The banks of the Shenango River in downtown Sharon, Pa., will be lined with folks for this wacky regatta and street party.

v St. Christine’s parish festival, 6 to 11 p.m.: Amusement rides and carnival fun at this large festival on the West Side. The church is on the corner of South Schenley and Canfield Road.

v Once in a Lifetime, 6 p.m.: This Keith Urban tribute band headlines the show at Warren Community Amphitheatre, downtown.

v Following June, 7 p.m.: Music from the ’60s to the ’90s at this free outdoor concert at Churchill Park, off Belmont Avenue in Liberty.

v The BOP Band, 10 p.m.: Billy Beck of Ohio Players fame leads the band, with Greg Johnson. Expect some line dancing and the premiere of Johnson’s ode to LeBron James. Choices, in the Metroplex Hotel, Belmont Avenue, Liberty.

Fireworks event at Freedom Place

LIBERTY

Freedom Place and Liberty Assembly of God will host a Salute to Liberty fireworks celebration beginning at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The event is free to the community and includes free on-site parking, food concessions, live music and entertainment. The fireworks show, presented by the American Fireworks Co., will begin at 10 p.m.

The celebration will be at Freedom Place, 6779 Belmont Ave., halfway between Tibbetts Wick Road and Old State Route 82.

Beach volleyball tourney scheduled

Conneaut Lake, PA.

Teams are being sought to enter the Conneaut Lake Park Summer Classic beach volleyball tournament July 14 and 15.

All ages and abilities are welcome to enter the recreational, family-oriented tournament. Coed teams of four will compete in four divisions, with a four-game guarantee.

Tournament T-shirts and a trophy will be awarded to the first place teams.

Advanced and intermediate teams will play July 14, and recreational and backyard teams will play Sunday.

Registration is $35 per team. A three-team limit has been set, and pre-registration is recommended.

Kennywood fun

PITTSBURGH

Kennywood amusement park will host Celebrate America, a salute to the nation, Saturday through Thursday. A highlight will be Weiner 100 Dachshund race at 3 p.m. Sunday. Mimes, jugglers, stilt walkers, unicyclists, magicians and other entertainers will join Uncle Sam walking around the park each day, and there will be fireworks each night at 9:30.
