Power outage hits East Side, Campbell and parts of Lowellville and Coitsville

A power outage is affecting all of Campbell, parts of Lowellville and Coitsville and much of the East Side of Youngstown.

Campbell Administrator Jack Dill said the power went out around 3 p.m. He said a transformer and wires are down at Coitsville Road and Wilson Avenue in Campbell.

Ohio Edison representative David Turner said about 3:30 p.m. that the company has crews on the way.

He said that at this time, the company estimates the power will be back on by 5:30 p.m.
