Standohar, Colbert capture Trumbull 17-18 golf crowns

Evan Standohar shot a 78 to edge out Adam Catauro’s 80 to capture the 17-18-year-old title at the Trumbull County junior golf championship at Yankee Run.

Gerry Booze (79) won the 15-16 title, followed by Buster Thomas with an 80.

Brianna Colbert captured the girls’ 17-18 crown with an 86 and Haleigh Guerrero was second with an 88.

Kerra Loomis won the 15-16 title and Gina Cerimele (101) was second.

At Candywood Golf Club, Mark Standohar won the 13-14 title with an 85 and Zachary Jacobson was second with an 88.

Cole Christian won the 10-12 with a 39 over nine holes, followed by Joey Vitali (44). Cameron Colbert won the 8-9 title with a 48.

On the girls side, Emily Koehler was first in the 13-14 grouping with a 105 and Kaci Carpenter shot 107 to finish second.
