Golf outing to help kids with cancer

The Brett Wilcox Benefit Golf Outing will take place July 22 at Lakeside Golf Course, 2404 S.E. River Road.

Entry fee is $65 per golfer or $250 for a foursome in a scramble format. Play begins with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Entry includes a cart and greens fees, coffee and doughnuts at registration, lunch at the turn and dinner.

Stadium GM in Salem donated a car for the hole-in-one contest. First place pays $400, and second place, $200. Also featured will be a basket auction, 50-50 drawing and a raffle for a 40-inch TV.
