OSHP investigating motorcycle-semi crash that killed 2

BROOKFIELD

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers from the Warren Post are investigating a Tuesday afternoon crash that killed two Greenville, Pa., residents.

The crash occurred about 12:30 p.m. on state Route 7 at state Route 82.

Motorcyclist Daniel H. Minchoff, 54, and his passenger, Debora L. Roberts, 50, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Minchoff, who was traveling west on Route 82, went through a red light, striking the side of a commercial truck operated by Daniel L. Hopkins, 57, of Orwell, as Hopkins traveled through the intersection, according to the state patrol.

Hopkins wasn’t injured. Both Minchoff and Roberts were thrown from the motorcycle.
