FOOD SALES AND DINNERS

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. The cost is $9 for adults and $4.50 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

SATURDAY

North Lima Mennonite Church will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast-brunch buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. The buffet will consist of eggs, pancakes, French toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade rolls, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and onions, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. Smith Corners United Methodist Church, corner of Kirk Road and Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will serve a drive-through dinner from 4 p.m. until sold out. Cost is $9, and the meal consists of ham loaf, cheesy potatoes, green beans and coleslaw. Pull up to the south door (look for the balloons) for pickup.

SUNDAY

Joseph T. Nalley Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 86 and Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Golden Rose Division will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Columba Cathedral Hall, 154 W. Wood St., Youngstown. Cost for adults is $8, and children under 12 are free. For tickets call Brian Antal at 330-690-8435. Proceeds will benefit St. Vincent de Paul Society’s soup kitchen and Second Harvest Food Bank.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Triangle Post 2799 will serve home-style breakfasts from 8 a.m. to noon, sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary. The costs are $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Menu items are eggs, hash browns, sausage or ham, pancakes or freedom toast, toast and coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
