Columbiana chamber hosts Friday networking breakfast

The Columbiana Chamber of Commerce’s Business Development Committee is hosting a networking breakfast at the Dutch Haus Restaurant in Columbiana at 7:30 a.m. on Friday.

The speaker is Todd Alexander, president elect of the East Liverpool Chamber of Commerce. Alexander is the vice president and director of information technology at Newbold Technologies in East Liverpool.

Alexander will present a comparison of three communities in mid-Pennsylvania and how each has been affected by the development of the shale oil and gas. The presentation will help the public understand and possibly anticipate the future with the advancement of the shale industry based upon Alexander’s visit to Pennsylvania earlier this year.
