Bernat-Firmstone wedding planned as September rite

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Lisa Bernat and Michael Firmstone, both of New Middletown, are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage. The bride-elect is the daughter of Andrew and Peggy Bernat of Youngstown, and the future groom is the son of Arla and Joy Firmstone of Pulaski, Pa.

Zion Lutheran Church will be the setting of their Sept. 15 wedding ceremony. An evening reception by invitation will take place at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles.

The bride-to-be earned an associate degree from ITT Youngstown College of Business. She is an accounts payable coordinator for the City of Youngstown.

The prospective groom is employed as a strand operator at R&G Steel in Warren.
