Living Treasures Animal Park is about 5 miles east of New Castle, Pa., on U.S. Route 422. The park features 78 species and 350 animals, including Levi, a 7-month-old giraffe. The park asks that people not bring food from home for the animals so it can keep track of what and how much they eat. Healthy treats are available for sale at the park, however.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily through Aug. 31, weather permitting.

Admission: Adults, $9.50; children ages 3 to 11, $6.50; senior citizens, $8; children under 2 are admitted free.
