Shannon O’Hara, Joseph Seifert planning to wed

The parents of Shannon M. O’Hara of Youngstown and Joseph L. Seifert of Liberty are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Joseph J. and Irene O’Hara of Youngstown, and the prospective groom is the son of Lawrence A. and Vivian M. Seifert of Liberty.

The couple’s open ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. Aug. 4 at St. Brendan Church, Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from Youngstown State University and works in the compliance department at Falcon Transport in Youngstown.

The future groom received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from YSU and is employed as a security officer at Horseshoe Cleveland Casino.
