Masons select 2 men for coveted award


AKRON

At its annual meeting June 2, the Ohio Council of Deliberation, 32nd Degree Masons of the ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, elected Salvadore A. Canale of Youngstown and Charles H. Graham of Niles to receive the coveted Meritorious Service Award for service to Scottish Rite.

This is one of the most prestigious awards in Masonry.

Canale is a past master of Western Star Lodge 21 in Boardman and has been an active member of the Valley of Youngstown Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite for 22 years, taking on many roles in the dramatic portrayal of its degrees.

Graham is a member of William Farr Lodge 672 in Girard and has been an active member of the Valley of Youngstown for 44 years and serves the Valley on its Makeup Committee.
