Stephen Lyons of Springfield High School is the Track and Field Vindicator Allstar.
The Vindicator is pleased to announce its Spring Sports Athletes of the Year.
The nine athletes profiled on these pages and on Vindy.com enjoyed great success during their respective seasons, bringing pride to the Valley and representing their schools and communities in the highest fashion.
Some of the selections are going on to bigger and better things at the collegiate level. Studying to become teachers, doctors, lawyers or business professionals. Some will continue their playing careers. The others are still bettering themselves to get to that higher level, while still working to finish what they started in high school.
With summer upon us, enjoy this look back at the spring prep season.
