Hayden-Nuzzi August wedding plans announced

The parents of Jessica L. Hayden and Matthew J. Nuzzi are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their children. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeff and Rita Hayden of Katy, Texas, and the prospective groom is the son of Paul and Cathy Nuzzi of Girard.

The couple’s open ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. Aug. 17 at St. Rose Church in Girard. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at Avalon at Buhl Park in Sharon, Pa.

Miss Hayden is employed as a licensed state-tested nurse’s aide at Abbington of Powell in Powell, Ohio. She plans to further her education this fall.

Mr. Nuzzi received an associate degree in applied science and mortuary science from The Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science. He also earned a bachelor’s degree from Gannon University in pre-mortuary science and business administration. He is employed as a trade embalmer for Columbus Trade and Livery.
