Explosion rocks house in Warren

WARREN

An explosion at a Warren home Friday night was enough to lift the s tructure off its foundation.

The home is believed to have been vacant, but a neighbor said there had been two people inside earlier in the day, according to a Warren Fire Department report.

Firefighters responded at 9:58 p.m. to the residence at 859 Homewood Ave. SE. When they arrived on the scene the fire was already fully involved, and the structure was unstable. The cause remains undetermined.
