Christina Maria Gavala became the bride of Dr. Jared Daniel Bunevich during an afternoon ceremony May 19 at Zion Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Duane Jesse performed the ceremony for the daughter of Robert Gavala of West Middlesex, Pa., and Anne Black of Erie, Pa., and son of Bruce and Jodi Bunevich of Dublin, Ohio.

The groom also is a son of the late Bonnie Bunevich.

The newlyweds were honored during a reception at Squaw Creek Country Club in Vienna then left for a honeymoon to the Amalfi Coast in Campania, Italy.

The bride wore a strapless A-line gown with ivory and champagne chantilly lace over a light gold gown accented by beaded embellishments.

Matron of honor was Karla Dunham and flower girl was Necia Bunevich, the groom’s daughter. The attendants wore shades of pink.

Michael Pascolini performed the duties of best man. Ring bearer was Xavier Moore, the bride’s son.

Mrs. Bunevich earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Pennsylvania State University Behrend. She is employed as a gas measurement engineer with Dominion East Ohio.

Dr. Bunevich graduated from Miami University in Oxford with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and a doctor of osteopathy degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He practices otolaryngology in Howland.

The newlyweds live in Canfield.
