Book signings set at Poland Library

POLAND

Three local authors will sign copies of their books beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Poland Library, 311 S. Main St.

Connie Randolph of Salineville, author of “The Wagging Tails of Casper Joe,” will sign copies of her book until 3 p.m.

In her book, again Casper Joe is faced with adventure when he goes camping, endures a snowstorm and goes on his first vacation.

But when he falls asleep and starts dreaming, the real adventure begins.

Michele Gianetti of Canfield will sign copies of her book, “I Believe in You.”

The book explores the journey she took into her daughter’s world of dyspraxia and sensory-processing disorder.

Janet DeCesare of Mineral Ridge will be signing her book, “Ticked Off,” until 3 p.m.

DeCesare’s book details her struggles with Lyme disease.

Writing workshop is scheduled

YOUNGSTOWN

Pig Iron Literary & Art Works will have its monthly writing workshop from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Pig Iron Press, 26 N. Phelps St., downtown.

Jim Villani is the facilitator.
