Tri-State Free Methodist camp marks 90th year

EAST LIVERPOOL

Tri-State Free Methodist Camp marks the 90th anniversary of the camp and the 120th anniversary of the group that has gathered for summer camp meeting services for 30 years.

Before its permanent location at 1027 Anderson Boulevard, the camp was at various locations in the tri-state area.

This year’s family camp will be July 5-15. Services begin at 7 p.m.

Featured evangelist is the Rev. Dr. LeRoy Kettinger of Auburn, N.Y. He has been a camp meeting preacher and Bible teacher in several denominations in the United States and Canada for years.

Dr. Kettinger has a doctor of ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton. For more than 25 years, he has worked with Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts USA, Camp Fire and 4H.

He is president of Synergistics Corporate Training in New York.
