“Community Connection” (7 a.m. Sunday on 21 WFMJ-TV, and 10 a.m. Tuesday on Time Warner Cable community access channel): PRIDE Youngstown is a local organization that represents the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community in achieving equality. It will have a community festival and parade next Saturday. Organizer Anita Davis will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the issues and concerns of the LGBT community, including bullying.

Next, Jere Beulah of local jazz group SounDoctrine and James Lloyd of internationally known jazz group Pieces of a Dream will discuss the Youngstown Jazz Fest, a free concert for the community. Other groups to perform are The John Reese Project, Laura Varcho and Dr. Alton Merrell.

Dali painting stolen from art gallery

NEW YORK

Police are looking for a man who stole a $150,000 Salvador Dali painting from a New York art gallery Tuesday. The man walked into the Venus Over Manhattan art gallery on Madison venue in Manhattan posing as a customer. They say he removed the watercolor and ink painting from the wall, put it in a bag and fled.

The 1949 painting is Cartel des Don Juan Tenorio.” It was part of the gallery’s inaugural exhibition.
