Trumbull woman injured in collision with donkey has died


YOUNGSTOWN — Tina Freeman, 23, of Cortland, who was injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this month in Bristvolville, has died.

Freeman, a 2007 graduate of Lakeview High School, died Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Health Center. She was involved in an accident a 1:49 a.m. June 10 in which the motorcycle on which she was a passenger hit a donkey on state Route 45.

She suffered serious head injuries as a result of being ejected from the motorcycle. She and the driver of the motorcycle, Zachary Sain, 23, of Warren, were not wearing helmets.

Freeman worked as a nursing assistant for the Lake Vista Retirement Community in Cortland.
