YOUNGSTOWN
The fourth annual Youngstown Fallen Firefighters Memorial Bike Run will be at 9 a.m. Saturday beginning at the Army/Navy #360 at 1814 Logan Ave. The cost is $15 per bike and an additional $5 for passengers. Proceeds benefit the Youngstown Fallen Firefighters Memorial Fund.
The ride will go to the Riverwalk in Troy Township, home of the Iron Horse Saloon. Riders will return to Logan, where there will be a cash bar, food, live music, a 50/50 raffle and an auction. Free T-shirts will be given to the first 75 paid registrations.
Cyclist hits tree

A man is at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngs-town after an accident on Harbor-Edinburg Road, Mahoning Township Police said. Police said Nicholas Miloser III, 32, of West Pittsburg, Pa., lost control of his motorcycle at 8:38 p.m. Wednesday and crashed into a tree on Harbor- Edinburg Road at the intersection with Sankey Run Road. He was flown to St. Elizabeth’s and was listed in fair condition there Thursday. The cause of the crash and possible charges still are under investigation.

Acclaimed documentary maker Derrick Jones’ “631,” a film about his childhood home at 631 Ridge Ave. on Youngstown’s South Side, is now showing in an online film festival until December. The festival is the Culture Unplugged “We Speak, Here” festival and “631” can be viewed at http://www.cultureunplugged.com/documentary/watch-online/play/5310/631.
Festival winners are determined in part by page views on the videos.
