Mahoning commissioners approve 3-year pact with CWA, children services board


YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County commissioners today approved a three-year labor agreement with Communications Workers of America Local 4300 and the Children Services Board.

The agreement, which affects 97 workers, provides no pay increases. The pact is retroactive to Feb.. 1 of this year.

The union represents, among other, case workers at CSB. CSB will continue to pay the entire 10 percent employee contribution share to the Public Employee Retirement System of Ohio, The employees also will continue paying 10 percent of their health-care premiums.

In other business, commissioners also approved one-day closures of various county roads for culvert replacements beginning Monday. The roads are Palmyra, Bailey, Kirk, McGuffey and Dobbins roads
