Kay-Opperman July wedding set in Youngstown

Amber Marie Kay of Girard and Andrew Kenneth Opperman of Brookfield are announcing their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Brent Kay of Liberty and Shelly Venneri of Boardman, and the prospective groom is the son of Kenneth and Kathy Opperman of Brookfield.

St. Dominic Church in Youngstown will be the setting of the July 14 ceremony. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

Miss Kay earned a bachelor’s degree in middle childhood education in language arts and social studies from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in teaching curriculum, instruction and assessment at Mary Grove College. She is a seventh-grade language arts teacher in Warren.

Mr. Opperman attended New Castle School of Trades and works as a combination welder for Chevron in Mercer.
