Dulcimer workshop set at state park

EAST LIVERPOOL

Friends of Beaver Creek State Park are sponsoring a Learn to Play the Dulcimer workshop for adult and teenage beginners from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Pioneer Village Barn.

Several instruments will be available for those who wish to take part in the workshop but do not have their own dulcimer. Advance registration is required. All music and lesson material will be provided, and previous music training is not required.

The cost of the workshop is $20, and all proceeds will be used for the upkeep of Pioneer Village.

Registration forms are available in the Trading Post at the park or by calling Alice Ann Whitehill at 724-573-9109. Register early if an instrument is needed.
