Brothers sentenced in Rite Aid robbery

WARREN

Two brothers are going to prison for two years for robbing the Rite Aid store, 2840 Youngstown Road, on Dec. 21.

Gerald Bacon, 20, and Nick Bacon, 18, both of Feederle Avenue Southeast, pleaded guilty to robbery in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court and received their sentence Monday.

The brothers lived in the Trumbull Homes apartments near the store.

Police said the Bacon brothers were among five or more black men wearing masks and dark clothing who robbed the store at 10:34 p.m.

Police say videotape footage of the robbery helped them make arrests quickly.

Two of the men had guns and held them to the neck and head of two female clerks before getting cash.
