Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Kenyon are making their home in Howland after being married July 9, 2011, in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church by the Revs. Peter Haenftling and Bob Shonholz.
The bride is the former Melissa Laufman, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Laufman of Canfield. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Kenyon of Girard.
A reception honored the newlyweds at The Lake Club in Poland. They honeymooned in Naples, Fla., and the Eastern Caribbean.
Crystals adorned the cap sleeves of the bride’s A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and chapel-length train accented by crystals and pearls. A tiara held the bride’s fingertip-length veil.
Honor attendants were Lindsay Merrifield, Pam Hutchinson and Jamye Jones, and bridesmaids were Amy Kenyon, the groom’s sister; Katie Petrilla, the groom’s cousin; Bernadette Farina; and Erin Rivello. The flower girl was Isabella Farina. The attendants wore watermelon-colored dresses.
Best men were Kevin Kenyon, the groom’s brother, and Cory Ramsey and Gregory Ramsey. The groomsmen were Jason, Justin and Bradley Laufman, the bride’s brothers, and Andrew Okonek. Wyatt Skruck was ring bearer.
Mrs. Kenyon graduated from Youngstown State University with degrees in communications and early childhood education. She is the lead preschool teacher with Mahoning Youngstown Community Action Partnership’s Head Start Program.
The groom is a roofer in Roofers’ Local 71.
