Heather L. McGee became the bride of Jerimiah J. Moody during a ceremony at 1 p.m. June 2 in Boardman Township Park. A reception honored the couple at Ali Babba Grotto in Warren.

The bride is a daughter of Lisa McGee of Austintown. Parents of the groom are Kent Moody of Warren and Sandra Halicki of Foxburg, Pa.

The newlyweds live in Austintown.

Ruching and beading highlighted the bride’s gown.

Krista Lawson was maid of honor, and flower girl was Layken Moody, the couple’s daughter. Bridesmaids, wearing black dresses with teal sashes, were Tracey Hughes, Darla Gray and Danielle Miller.

Jason Lawson, cousin of the groom, served as best man, and ring bearer was Kenny Moody, the groom’s nephew. Groomsmen were Zack and Brian Moody, brothers of the groom, and Tony Pullin.

Mrs. Moody is attending Kent State University and working toward a degree in radiology.

Her husband served in the U.S. Air Force.
