Niles man killed in truck accident in Warren Township

A 48-year-old Niles man died in a one-car accident on Main Street in Warren Township.

Robert A. Gumina was northbound at 10:30 p.m. Saturday on Main Street, south of Dover Street, when his 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck went off the left side of the road, overturned and hit a utility pole, according to a Ohio State Highway Patrol report.

Gumina was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
