Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays in Columbiana and Mahoning counties for people 60 or older and their spouses (regardless of age). Reservations are required three days in advance. A $2 donation is suggested per meal.

Call 330-884-2513 to make reservations, for serving locations or to arrange for home- delivered meals for seniors who are homebound.

Transportation is available by calling 330-884-2511. The program office is located at 299 Edwards St., Youngstown.

COLUMBIANA COUNTY

Wednesday, June 20: Teriyaki chicken, rice, mixed veggies, cauliflower, apple juice, wheat bread, cupcake or angel food cake, and milk.

Thursday, June 21: Beef and pepper patty, with mashed potatoes and gravy, brussels sprouts, fresh orange, wheat bread and milk.

Friday, June 22: Meatballs, mashed potatoes, peas, unsweetened applesauce, wheat bread and milk.

Saturday, June 23: Turkey on a bun with mayo/mustard, celery with ranch dressing, fresh apple, grape juice and milk.

Monday, June 25: Penne Pasta with sauce and meatballs, green beans, unsweetened pears, fruit juice, bread stick and milk.

Tuesday, June 26: Hot dog on a bun, spudster, baked beans, unsweetened fruit and milk.

MAHONING COUNTY

Friday, June 22: Beef burrito, refried beans, lettuce, corn, unsweetened pears, angel food cake or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Saturday, June 23: Chicken breast, romaine salad, black bean salad, fresh banana, bun, orange cookie or sugar-free cookie, and milk.

Monday, June 25: Steak burger with mushrooms, baked potato, broccoli, diced peaches, sugar cookie or sugar-free cookie and milk.

Tuesday, June 26: Pork riblet on a bun, brussels sprouts, pineapple tidbits, romaine salad, chocolate cupcake or sugar-free cookie and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers well-balanced meals at 12 locations in Trumbull County for people 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.
