Rose Day scheduled at Mill Creek Park

YOUNGSTOWN

Mahoning Valley Rose Society members are planning a Rose Day from 1 to 5 p.m. June 24 at the Davis Center in Mill Creek Park, 123 McKinley Ave.

The interactive program will include a talk on types and care of roses by Pat Martinec, a demonstration on arranging roses by Rodd Coonce and a presentation on soil properties by Andrea Pernotto.

Society members and consulting rosarians will be on hand, and there will be a basket auction.
