YSU Alumni to join national event to network

Dozens of Youngstown State University alumni in 15 cities from Washington, D.C., to Sydney, Australia, will participate in the second annual YSU Alumni National Networking Day on June 28.
The event is an effort by the Office of Alumni and Events Management to help YSU graduates reconnect with or meet fellow Penguins living in their area.
It also is part of a larger and continuing effort to organize alumni groups in cities across the nation.
“We are so excited to have 15 cities participating this year, including our first group from outside the United States,” said Mollie Hartup, assistant director of alumni relations and coordinator of the networking event. “We are always looking for new opportunities to engage YSU alumni at home and away.”

This year, each location will play a video message from President Cynthia E. Anderson, updating alumni on the campus.
The event is 5 to 7 p.m. at L’uva Bella Winery in Lowellville.
