Plans announced for Beard-Smith wedding in 2013

Cynthia and Ron Carter of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their son, Patrick Smith, also of Boardman, to Kelsey Beard of Cambridge, Ohio. Mr. Smith also is the son of the late William K. Smith.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Sandy Beard of Cambridge and the late Bruce Beard.

The couple will exchange vows March 16, 2013, at the Church of Our Savior in Salem. A reception in their honor is being planned at the Salem Elks Lodge. Invitations will be issued for both events.

Miss Beard is pursuing a degree in medical assisting at Zane State College while employed at the Cambridge Area YMCA.

The future groom completed studies at Wyotech as an auto technician. He is employed as a technician at Wingfoot Truck Care in Niles.
