Biden: Voters have clear choice in 2012 election

Vice President Joe Biden said the presidential election comes down to two different visions.

In a Friday conference call with Ohio reporters, Biden, a Democrat, said, “This is the clearest choice America will have” in decades when choosing a president between Barack Obama, the incumbent Democrat, and Mitt Romney, the presumptive Republican nominee.

Obama and Romney both campaigned Thursday in Ohio, considered a key swing state in the presidential election.

Obama spoke in Cleveland and Romney in Cincinnati, both about the economy.

Biden and Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman, both Democrats, were on the conference call from Orlando, the location of the U.S. Conference of Mayors.

The call was delayed for 35 minutes. Biden and Coleman spoke for about 10 minutes, and Biden got off the call before reporters could ask questions.
