The Pancretan Association of America will dedicate a special exhibit honoring the late Greek patriot and Prime Minister, Eleftherios K. Venizelos, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the National Packard Museum, 1899 Mahoning Ave. N.W. This special exhibit will be displayed in conjunction with the museum’s annual car show, “Packards Abroad.” Constantinos Valantasis, pastor of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, will give the invocation, and James Maropoulakis Denney, national legal advisor of the Pancretan Association of America, will present the exhibit. Venizelos and his wife, Elena, survived an assassination attempt June 6, 1933, when they were attacked while traveling in the suburbs of Athens in their 1929 Packard automobile. Bullets pierced the steel body of the Packard, but none reached the couple.

The YWCA of Youngs-town’s 30th annual Women Artists: A Celebration will be on exhibit Saturday through July 27 at the John J. McDonough Museum of Art, Wick Avenue. A preview party, open to the public, is set from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday with music, a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres and awards. General admission is $35 and $10 for students with a valid ID.
